Welcome !
I am a Philadelphia-based consultant on accessibility.
a bit about who I am: I was diagnosed with macular degeneration at a young age for this condition [30] [quite a cosmic joke as a visual artist, huh?!]. Yes, I was a Creative Director at the Nielsen Company for many years leading magazine teams, working on corporate projects and marketing services when suddenly, when reading page proofs on deadline, I noticed a blurry spot in my vision that I thought was a dirty contact lenses. For the next six months I progressively lost more vision. I have used accessibility technology as a means to enrich my life and work—and I'm happy to say, the lives of many others as a founding team leader in accessibility skills and awareness training at a world-wide technology company and having served as a consultant to the Council for Accessibility at the NYU Langone Medical Center. My goal is to continue on this path to enrich lives and I hope you will be one of them.
Why is my main blog page titled ALL ACCESS! because I think that as a society we should all strive to provide access for all people, in all ways to all things. The exclamation point is a traditional use of that mark— an enthusiastic shout! INFORMATION IS POWER!
